The Metropolitan celebrates our local and regional traditions, patrons and partners. We're a community driven restaurant and bar that brings together people and deliciously creative, modern American diner cuisine and signature cocktails, curated wines and lots of craft beer!
A True Family Legacy
The diner bug was passed down to me by my parents who owned and operated multiple restaurants in the birthplace of the diner, Northern New Jersey. A tragic fire that destroyed a city block including their beloved diner brought our family from the suburbs of Manhattan to Cherry Hill, NJ and eventually Bucks County and created opportunities that we could only have dreamt of at that time.
The Metro is the third diner owned by my wife Jill and I and it’s exceeded our founding vision of a comfortable gathering place that puts food and people first. We’ve picked up like minded and passionate people along the way to create a team that has brought ideas and energy to our ever-evolving journey.
Proudly Serving Montgomery County Through Community and Charity
No matter what direction the Metro takes us, we know we can’t take one step without our equally passionate and loyal guests. Our Metro Rewards Club numbers over 28,000 members and Metropolitan Charities has raised over $100,000 since 2012 with our Dine and Donate program, every dollar directly contributed by our community, for our community.
